Status and Distribution of the Alpine Swift in Portugal
The Alpine Swift is a breeding and migratory bird species in continental Portugal. The Alpine Swift is an uncommon bird in continental Portugal. It has a fragmented distribution, present mostly in the Douro Valley and on the Central-Southern Coast, but also to a certain extent in Bragança, Vila Real, Alto and Baixo Alentejo.
